Embark on a short and scenic walk to a picturesque spot, where you'll settle in for an open-air interactive painting session. Guided by Paige Rittersbacher, you'll learn the art of watercolor painting, capturing the essence of flowers, mountains, trees, and more. All necessary materials will be provided, allowing you to focus on your creative journey.
Regardless of your skill level, all abilities are welcome in this workshop. We'll begin with beginner-friendly watercolor techniques and progressively build upon them, ensuring that everyone can participate and grow as an artist. By the end of the day, you'll proudly take home your own original paintings, crafted during the workshop.
Please note that the workshop's location is weather-dependent. In case the weather doesn't cooperate, we may relocate indoors to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.
No previous hiking or watercolor painting experience is required for this workshop.
Here's a brief overview of the workshop itinerary: We'll gather at the designated parking lot, where you'll have the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow participants, while preparing for our artistic adventure. Following a pleasant walk, we'll set up our painting stations and dive into the creative process. Anticipate approximately three hours of painting and immersion in the great outdoors. As the event draws nearer, you'll receive an email with additional details, including a list of items to bring and the precise location, for your convenience.

Purchase Plein Air Paint Kits $20 - (Optional) When you purchase your ticket, you will be given the option to purchase your painting supplies. (Supplies are provided for the class.) If you want to be able to take the supplies home so you can continue plein air painting, then this option is for you. Painting kits include 5 5x7 sheets of paper, 4 brushes, a small watercolor kit, a painting board, 1 roll of masking tape and a water cup with a lid all inside a Mountain Girl drawstring bag.

Due to the small scale nature of this event, tickets are non-refundable. You can transfer your ticket to someone else, but we leave the logistics of the transaction up to you. Just let us know that the name on the ticket has changed.
